Our Availability
What are the rates?
$115 per night (two-night minimum) or $800 per week. Rates do not include
Michigan 6% Sales Tax. Up to 4 Guests - Maximum 6 Adults. $100 / person
per week or $25 / person per night for 5th & 6th guest. We offer weekly
rentals during June, July & August starting Sunday through Sunday.
Reservation Policy
During the months of June, July and August there is a one-week minimum
stay. Otherwise there is a two-night minimum stay. Reservations require
an initial deposit of $100. We accept personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. If it becomes necessary to cancel your
stay, please provide us with notification as far in advance as possible.
If we are able to obtain a replacement reservation for the period you
wish to cancel, we will refund your initial deposit. Reservations are
made on a first-come-first-serve basis. We must receive your deposit within
one week of yoru confirmation.
How many cabins do
you have and what are they like?
There are four cabins and a recreation room. Three of the cabins
are on the lake. The fourth cabin has a nice trail leading down to the
lake. The recreation room is a shared space with a flat-screen TV, cable,
DVD/Blu-Ray player, microwave and books & board games. All cabins
are non-smoking.
Inside The
Cabins:
- The cabins’
décor provides a hint of rustic-sophistication. Each cabin has
two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a kitchen / living room
combo.
- The Kitchen / Living Room
comes complete with all the appliances, including a full-size refrigerator,
stove and oven as well as pots, pans, and cooking utensils, dining table
for four, love seat and a gas space heater. There is a microwave in
the recreation room.
- The Bedrooms come complete
with sheets, blankets and pillows.
Outside The
Cabins:
- Two of the
cabins have large decks overlooking the beach area and lake.
- Each cabin has its own BBQ
grill, picnic table, a lounger, four lawn chairs, and lines for hanging
anything you’d like to air dry.
Lake Activities:
- Each cabin comes with its
own rowboat. You can bring your own motor up to 6 H.P. as well as electric
motors.
- The lake has a sandy bottom
with a long decline and a water volleyball net.
- There are three docks. Two
docks have stairs for convenient lake entry.
- There are 2 kayaks and 3
paddleboat to share.
- There is one fire pit on
the water’s edge.
Cabin #1 (Robin's Nest)
Robin's Nest
is our cozy Log Cabin overlooking the beautiful lake. The Cabin features
2 bedrooms, one with a double extra long bed and one with 2 twin extra
long beds, a bathroom and a kitchen / living great room. Enjoy the private
deck that overlooks the lake, complete with a grill and picnic table.
Cabin #2 (Deer Trail)
Deer Trail is
our comfy cabin with a screened in porch overlooking the lake. The Cabin
features 2 bedrooms, both with double extra long beds, a bathroom and
a kitchen /living great room. Enjoy the private deck that overlooks the
lake, complete with a grill and picnic table.
Cabin #3 (Bear Den)
Bear Den is
our snug cabin where you'll enjoy the private covered porch that overlooks
the lake. The Cabin features 2 bedrooms, one with a double extra long
bed and one with 2 twin extra long beds, a bathroom and a kitchen / living
great room. Enjoy dining alfresco with a lake view, complete with a grill
and picnic table.
Cabin #4 (Lily Pad)
Lily Pad is
our cabin nestled at the top of the hill just a short walk to the crystal
clear water. The cabin features 2 bedrooms, both with double extra long
beds, a bathroom and a kitchen / living great room. Enjoy dining alfresco
with a lake view, complete with a grill and picnic table.
Recreation Room (Campers
Cove)
Campers Cover
is our recreational cabin nestled at the top of the hill. This Cabin is
a common space shared by all guests. It has a flat-screen TV, cable, DVD/Blu-Ray
player, microwave and books & board games. No pets allowed inside
Campers Cove.

Check-In time
is 3:00pm or later. Check-Out time is 10:00am or earlier.
What is the lake like?
Tee Lake is spring fed and very
clear. The water has a soft, sandy bottom. The water can be accessed from
either stairs on two of the docks or from the beach area. In the water
is a floating swim platform. There
are many lakes in Northern Michigan with character and Tee Lake is one
of these with three islands totaling 6 acres. Tee Lake is V-shaped and
consists of a northwestern 70-foot-deep 157-acre basin and a southern
20-foot deep 72-acre basin. Water leaves the lake through the outlet on
the southwest corner and flows into the East Branch of the Big Creek,
which flows into the North Branch of the Au Sable River.
Can I
bring a boat?
Yes. You must have a life jacket for each passenger. DNR (Department
of Natural Resources) funds the lake sheriff who will check your
boat for life jackets.
Do you
allow pets?
Yes. A pet fee of $50 per reservation applies. No pets are allowed in
another cabin other than your own. No pets allowed in the recreation cabin.
Pets must be kept near you on a leash.
Is there
wireless internet access?
Yes, there is no charge for wifi.
Do you
provide firewood?
No. Michigan
has established a law which makes transporting firewood from one area
to another area illegal due to insects & disease. Firewood is available
for purchase in town.
Are you
open for hunting season & winter?
We are open May through October. Be sure to check out our month-long Halloween
event in October.
What kind
of wildlife is there?
You can see many forms of wildlife such as ducks, loons, turtles, pileated
woodpeckers, humming birds, orioles, turkey, deer, elk heard (15 miles),
squirrels, rabbits, partridge, geese, just to name of few.
Are you
in the woods?
Woods surround us, however, our location is conveniently right off the
main road and the resort is nicely cleared.
How far
is the grocery store?
Family Fare Grocery Store is located in town (Lewiston) only 5-miles.

Is
there dining?
Dining options in Lewiston include the Iron Kettle Family Restaurant,
Lewiston Lodge, Talley's Log Cabin, Mill Street Pizza, Redwood Steak House
and the Villager Restaurant. Garland (only 3 miles) is home of Herman’s
Restaurant and Ma Deeter's in Luzerne.
Is
there golfing?
Garland has four champion golf courses located only 3 miles South of Tee
Lake Resort. There is also Fairview Hills Golf Club located 10 miles away,
Cedar Valley Golf Club located 12 miles away, Elk Ridge Golf Club located
12 miles away, Sidewinder Gold Course located 12 miles away, and Elk Ridge
Golf Club located 19 miles away.
Is
there fishing? What kind of fish?
Yes, there is fishing. Tee Lake has walleye, bass, bluegill, crappie,
perch, pike, panfish, and sunfish. There are pockets along the shoreline
of the southern arm of the lake that offers good weed and lily pad cover,
just the thing to entice the large and smallmouth bass.
Is
there canoeing?
Au Sable River Canoe & Kayak trips. Lewiston Motor Sports offers personal
watercraft rentals.

How
far is Mackinaw City?
80-miles which is about an hour and a half drive.
Is
there shopping?
Tee Lake Mercantile is right on property with gifts, apparel and home
decor with custom items for Lewiston, including the surrounding lakes.
Collectibles and antique shopping available in town (Lewiston) only 5-miles
away. Also, Gaylord is 30-minutes away and offers more shopping options.
